Chalet Gerbera - Wengen

We had a wonderful stay at Chalet Gerbera. the location was perfect, tucked away with breathtaking views from the balcony. Ruth and George, the owners, were incredibly welcoming and provided us with everything we needed. the chalet itself was spotlessly clean and comfortable. We loved having our own apartment, and it had all the amenities we could ask for.

It truly felt like a paradise. Cons: Nothing that we didn't like.

The morning meal could use a bit more variety.

I had the most amazing stay at a cosy Swiss house with amazing views of the mountains and valley. The house was well-maintained and had all the amenities needed for a peaceful family getaway. The laundry facilities were especially convenient with children. The highlight was definitely the view from the balcony - fine!

The apartment had a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, so I could easily cook my own meals and clean up afterwards. The living room had a dining area and a flat-screen TV, making it a cozy spot to relax and enjoy a movie. I loved the iPod docking station in the room, it was great to have my favorite music playing during my stay.

The apartment had a stovetop, which I personally found a bit inconvenient compared to having a full oven. But hey, others might not mind it!

The view from the balcony was absolute goals - we could see the epic cliffs, waterfalls, and even a freakin' train going up the mountains! The chalet was so modern and comfy, with a dope TV and a fully equipped kitchen. Plus, the host was hella nice and made sure we had a lit time. We'd defs stay again!

The only thing we'd ask for is a sick party room in the chalet. Like, imagine having a sick DJ setup and some lit disco lights?

We had a wonderful week-long stay at this chalet. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet, with stunning views of the Lauterbrunnen Valley from the terrace. The fully stocked kitchen was perfect for cooking for our family of 4. The WiFi was fast and reliable, and the beds were comfortable with traditional European pillows. The bathroom had a full-size tub and shower, and the skylight in the ceiling provided constant views of the Eiger mountain. We would absolutely stay here again and even for a longer period next time. Ruth, the host, was gracious and helpful, even arranging a taxi for our departure.

The location was convenient, just a short walk uphill into town or a scenic train ride from the Wengwald station. The hosts, Ruth and George, were fantastic, making us feel right at home. We couldn't have asked for a better stay!

For families with children, my children wanted a second bathroom.
